Construction of an elevator for cereals storage with a capacity of 10 000 tons (first line) with its planned increase up to 50 000 tons. A target of the project is to satisfy agricultural producers’ demand for cereals storage, working-up, drying and shipment services.

|Description||The Elevator is a high-technology and highly-automated complex based on the imported equipment. It’s intended to provide agricultural producers with a whole range of services such as acceptance, clearing, drying, storage and shipment of cereals. Further beginning from the 3rd year (2015) it’s planned to increase the storage of the elevator up out of an earned profit with the aim of increase of a storage volume and of a participation of the Intervention fund as a variant.|
According to the project the main produce is a delivery of such services as acceptance, working-up, drying, storage and shipment of cereals to the agricultural producers of such districts as Omskij, Tavricheskij, Azovskij, Poltavskij and Sherbakul’.The total area of the cultivated land runs up to more than 500 000 ha with an average crop capacity of more than 18 dt/ha. Thus, an available storage volume comes up to 540 000 tons of wheat. The nearest elevators with a total storage volume of 240 000 tons are situated at a distance of no less than 50 km from the area.
One of the important factors of the realization of the project is a creation of permanent positions of employment on the territory of Novoomskij settlement. It is supposed that there will be more than 30 workers there, moreover most of the taxes and charges will pass to the settlement budget that will favour its social development. The elevator is also going to be used as a training and production facility for Omsk Agricultural College as a prearrangement with its head has already been reached.
